| Aleph Base Station Controller
(BSC) is the most advanced data radio controller on the market. Completely
re-designed with Reed-Solomon error correction, the BSC manages base
radio traffic with the best throughput.
Since the BSC is located at the radio antenna
site, Aleph has incorporated a remote reset capability from the
host. Since the BSC has this feature, the customer can restart the
BSC from the office without any help from the radio shop and reduce
BSC related down time.
This remote reset capability combined with the
unity self-correcting mechanisms prevent unnecessary visits to the
radio transmitter site.
The BSC has a built-in power supply as well
as is capable of using an external power supply. Hence, the redundant
power source provides a higher degree of reliability of the BSC.
